V good food..and lady was so helpful and friendly translating menu for us.
After a couple of disappointing meals at other restaurants, we found this gem of a restaurant tucked away in the back streets. Besides having a great atmosphere and friendly and efficient service the food was fantastic The menu was simple but brilliant. Started with a salad with sheep's cheese followed by sole meuniere. We were recommended to try the soufflé with Grand Marnier - you could have dived in and gone to heaven. The only disappointment was that it was our last night, and we had not discovered it earlier
Just the souffle is worth dinning there. It's not on the menu so you have to ask for it.
Amazing Bistro by renowned chef Iñaki Aizpitarte at his hometown of Saint Jean de Luz Great cuisine of first class local & regonal products cooked with simplicity but high level technic !! Will come back for sure !!
We had an amazing dinner there. Strong/clean flavours, cooking the classics with a few of Iñaki’s signature dishes tucked into the menu. The poularde is to die for. A really special place.
Great Bistro - loved the food. The specials of the day were plentiful and mostly appetizers. Three of us had 9 appetizers and split everything with a few glasses of delightful white wine. Wow. The food was prepared with skill and finesse but no pretension. Great ingredients and good "chemistry". Service was good for a bistro. Thank you Chef! We'll be back.
A little gem of a restaurant. All the food we had was amazing. The pork pate was the best I have ever tasted. It has a very inventive Heath Robinson climate control fan system which the waitresses take turns in operating. We left with smiles on our faces having had a very enjoyable evening.
